The Turbi-Float ® line is divided into nine performance groups. Each group is defined by capacity (gallons per minute), discharge body size, and pressure developed (head). Standard group offerings are listed below:

- Discharge body and outlet size affect bowl compatibility and maximum nominal flow accordingly. Some applications can have very high velocities in reasonable lengths of discharge hose, which are connected to a appropriately sized pipe diameter mainline.
- Very long discharge hose lengths may result in excessive head loss and reduced system performance. Consult factory for assistance.
- It is the responsibility of the installer to connect the discharge hose to a properly sized pipeline at the shoreline in order to avoid excessive head loss. All performance ratings are at the pump’s discharge.
